Our Story

Born and raised in Michigan, we met in high school. Although not exactly love at first sight, we did eventually start dating and were married five years later. The following year, we set out to build our dream house. Four bedrooms, three bathrooms with an apartment over the garage complete with a kitchenette and its own bathroom, we designed this home to raise our kids, entertain our loved ones, and spend the rest of our lives in. Andy, with the help of a few generous individuals, took something we had only dreamed of and made it into a reality. Almost a decade later, when it became clear to us children were not meant to be part of our family plan, we sold one of the biggest accomplishments to date. Now, we are embarking on a new adventure, building – again quite literally – our forever home. We invite you to join us on this journey, as we build this home together, from the ground up. With love and intention, we want to share our story with you, every step of the way.
